Construction and Civil Engineering Senior Staff Association (CCESSA) commonly referred to as construction, is an Association made up of senior staff employed in the Construction and Civil engineering industries in Nigeria. CCESSA was duly registered under the Trade Unions (Amendment) Act No. 22 of 1978 of 15th August, 1978.

Objectives of the Association

To advance Trade Union Education through training of members, and other assistance to the members and staff.
To establish and maintain just and proper hours of work, remunerations and conditions of service for members.
To protect and advance socio-economics, cultural and charitable activities for the benefits of members, staff and their families.

The National President

Ayo Adeyemo, as fondly called, was born in Iyin Ekiti State. Ayo Adeyemo started his elementary school in Salvation Army Primary School, Odo Ikoyi in Akure and proceeded to Army Comprehensive High School.

Brief Historical Background

Long before the Association was registered in 1978, there were Monier Construction Company (Nigeria) Limited Senior Staff Association (MCC-SSA) and Costain (West Africa) Limited Senior Staff Association (Costain SSA).
